When am I billed for your services?

All of MySite.co.za's services are billed and payable in advance.

You will be billed from the day that you signup or request an add-on feature that incurs a fee.
A pro-rata hosting fee will be applied where applicable.

Hosting fees are subsequently billed periodically on the 1st (first) day of each month.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently only accept payments via credit card (Visa and MasterCard).

What is a pro-rata fee and when is that applied?

A pro-rata fee or amount, is a portion of the full hosting fee based on the number of days remaining in the month.
We charge you this amount from the day that you signup till the end of the initial month. It is also applied when clients request
a relevant add-on, or upgrade their accounts. (For practical reasons, new hosting or add-on requests received on the last day of a month will only be processed on the 1st of the following month)

The following formula is used:

pro-rata amount = (monthly fee / number of days in month) x remaining days in month

Do you charge tax (VAT)?

Yes. We charge VAT at 14% (fourteen percent) in addition to the advertised prices.

Who processes your credit card transactions, and are they secure?

All credit card payments are processed, verified and secured by our third party payment gateway PayGate.

MySite.co.za utilises 256 bit SSL to offer secure communications by encrypting all sensitive data sent to and from its website.
In addition, MySite.co.za utilises AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) to store sensitive data where applicable.
MySite.co.za adheres to all PCI guidelines.

What happens if my credit card is declined?

We will try to bill your credit card for a second time.

Should it fail on the second attempt, you will be notified thereof via email.
You will then be required to update your billing details.

An admin fee of R50 will be incurred.

How do I update my billing / credit card details?

To update your billing details, login to your client account:

Under the section "Billing", click on the "Update your credit card details" link.
Complete the relevant update form.

Please note that as with all other account management requests, changes may take up to 24 hours to be effected.

Do you email my invoices to me?

No. Clients need to login to their own account to view and/or print invoices.

How do I view and/or print my invoices?

To view or print your invoices, login to your client account:

Under the section "Billing", click on the "View your invoices" link.
From there you will be able to view and/or print your invoices.

I am paying for more than one domain with the same credit card, am I charged a combined total at the start of a month?

Yes. The system will create/store separate invoices for each domain, but you will be billed a combined total at the start of each month.
